INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION PROJECT
QUEEN ELIZABETH II PLATINUM JUBILEE
2022 marks the celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. For this event, members of the AECA, with the support of Russian and British partners, organized the Platinum Jubilee Art Exhibition. The project aims to celebrate the patronage and charitable activities of Elizabeth II in the field of art.
The curator of the exhibition was Rinat Kuramshin, Chairman of the Russian-British Cultural Club, Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts. The exhibition project was attended by artists of various creative directions - masters of fine and decorative and applied arts from Great Britain, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries: Zeynelkhan Mukhametjan, Aigul Alymkulova, Adylbek Baiterekov, Larisa Shubina, Irina Selina, Rustem Ibatullin, Anna Kreidun, Maya Gusarina, Yuri Shevyakov, Anastasia Chebanenko, Lyudmila Varlamova. All participants of the exhibition project were awarded special Diplomas. The curator of the project Rinat Kuramshin was awarded the AECA Gold Medal for organizing the exhibition, high achievements in the field of culture and art, development of international cooperation, as well as for a great contribution to the development of AECA.

Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; 21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022) was Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth countries from 6 February 1952 until her death in 2022. Elizabeth II was considered one of the most authoritative and influential women in the world. She is a respected figure on the world stage who has achieved universal respect and recognition through hard work. Elizabeth II was actively involved in charity and social activities. The Queen of Great Britain was a trustee of more than 600 different public and charitable organizations.
