RUSTEM IBATULLIN

RUSTEM IBATULLIN, born in 1980.  Graduated from No. 4 Art School in Kazan (1996), then Kazan State Medical University (2003). After graduating from the Medical University, the author found a desire to paint and to create design objects. Rustem decided to gain new knowledge and in 2012 graduated from Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Design Department.  

In his work, Rustem Ibatullin uses modern genres: urbanism, fantastic realism, also works in impressionism and abstractionism. 

He paints in oil, gouache and water colors.  In his works, the artist strives for graphic quality, clarity of lines, sharpness of contrasts and lines, achieving rigor and expressiveness. The author says about his work: "I'm not a follower of nature copying, although in some sketches I briefly capture nature, but I still feel that it is necessary to start from it... Emotionally, I love art which shows the idea of acute perception of color and shape, stylish severity, clarity, intensity of emotions, and avoidance of false meanings and nonsense".

Rustem Ibatullin is an active participant in various exhibitions and competitions in Russia and abroad.
