FASHION SHOWS IN UNITED KINGDOM       

Great Britain is a country with a rich history and culture. Great influence on culture, art, fashion is provided by the capital of the United Kingdom - London. For many designers London became a launch pad in the international fashion industry. The British capital of fashion has a history of developing some of the world’s most renowned fashion designers - Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Paul Smith and others. There are many fashion shows: London Fashion Week, Pure London, London Bridal Fashion Week and others, master classes by leading designers and fashion designers in London.

Today, events like the London Fashion Week inspire millions of fashion lovers all over the world.  London Fashion Week (LFW) is a clothing trade show that takes place in London twice a year, in February and September. The British Fashion Council has organised this international fashion event since 1984.

Showcasing over 250 designers to a global audience of influential media and retailers, it is one of the "Big Four" fashion weeks, along with the New YorkMilan and Paris.

Pure London is the United Kingdom's leading fashion trade show which takes place twice a year in OlympiaLondon. The timings of Pure ties in with the seasonal trends and buying patterns.

First launched in 2015, Asia Fashion Week, London is another significant event in the field. Africa Fashion Week (AFWL) in London is yet another annual fashion event. The show was launched for the first time in 2011. During the Africa Fashion Week, London many more fashion events are held such as the Black History Month celebrations and Africa Centre Summer Festival. Over 300 international designers and more than 45,000 invitees participate annually in the event. The Birmingham Fashion Week is another fantastic fashion show in the United Kingdom.

Many influential stakeholders in the fashion industry come to the UK during fashion shows.
